Hi, I’m Ivan Garcia — a photographer based in King City, California. My artistic journey began almost by accident, with a camera I picked up to capture family moments. What started as curiosity quickly grew into a passion for documenting the beauty, emotion, and color of everyday life.

Family plays a big role in my life. My wife, Daisy, and my kids remind me to slow down, stay curious, and see beauty in everyday moments.

I like to say I “shoot from the hip” — my photography is instinctive, unscripted, and deeply human. I’m drawn to authentic moments: laughter between friends, quiet glances, the warmth of sunset over the Salinas Valley. My goal is to create images that remind people to pause, reflect, and notice the beauty that’s already around them.

When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll probably find me exploring the outdoors, spending time with family, or planning my next creative project.
